Our "Beefy" Steel pedestal is carefully hand-welded using 1/8" thick steel, then the edges ground to a smooth, consistent, rounded finish. The surface is then randomly hand-ground to create a piece that has its own unique characteristics. No two pieces will look exactly alike. The random swirled patterns create an almost 3-dimensional effect from some angles of view. We then lacquer the pedestal for a finish that will last for years.
