There will be No Unsightly Seams where the core color of the laminate shows on the edges. We color match the edges for a very clean look. The clear acrylic top is 1/2" thick with hand-polished edges and is elevated with the 4 brushed stainless stand-offs for a very striking look. Although the acrylic is cut the same width and depth as the main body, you will lose a bit of usable display area since the stand-offs come in 1-3/4" from each side.
