Lodge Pole Pine Easel

The hand peeled look of Lodge pole Pine is unquestionably part of the West's heritage. Decorative outdoor log work was a logical extension of the frontier home, where logs were used as a basic building component for just about anything that called for sturdy construction. The logs tend to run straight and light colored as a rule. Some suppliers bring in "beetle kill pine" with telltale bluish streaks. The look speaks of hard working, honest folk who don't have much time for "frilly stuff." Rustle up a few for yerself and the kinfolk.
