Studios are great if you want to paint still life (everyone needs a bowl of fruit painting). But the world is full of energy; full of life that you can't capture when you're looking at the walls of your studio. Go outside in your backyard and paint the clouds or paint the kids as they play on the swings. Or be really adventurous and go up to the mountains to paint the trees or down to the beach to paint the sunset. All you need is the right equipment.

	Xylem Design's Wire Leg Lock eliminates the annoying wobble common in cheaper artist field easels. This patented leg lock system stabilizes the easel and guarantees a longer useful life by dramatically reducing stress on the easel's top assembly.
Our artist easel comes to an attractive apex, firmly holding the easel's two front legs together. The easel's rear leg is slightly below the apex and hinges separately, so it doesn't interfere with artwork. The leg stock on our artist easel is also thicker than other companies, and each easel leg comes with a rubber bumper so it won't slip on your floor.
	The tray on our artist easel is fully adjustable with the twist of a wing nut, and we include a hold-down with every easel so that your artwork or sign stays securely in place. Also, the easel tray and shelf molding on our artist easel have grooved slots for ¼" foam core signage and canvas frames.
Fully collapsible, the rear leg on our artist easel folds flat, and our patented Leg Lock System keeps the easel's legs from flopping around during transport or storage.
